The Style Edit: September 2020
September, a welcome time of shifting change as the bright, ethereal days of summer wane into a new season. Connecting back to home once again, the autumn season calls to mind a list of new revelations. As I look to the turning leaves for inspiration, here is a selection of those whose work I admire:
Creator
Brooklyn designer Corbin Cruise brings the essence of summer indoors with curious and thought provoking metal fabrications. His collection reminds me of the sea with its vibrant blue hues and hints of deep teal, finished in brass and bronze detail for a feeling of depth and sophistication.

Each piece is handcrafted and artfully finished in different textures, shapes and glazes for a subtle touch of beauty in any room. I admire the refined craft of his work, particularly in this lovely set of dusty pink fine bone china bowls dipped in gold.

What I’m Reading
Life With Picasso captures a glimpse into Picasso’s strange world, written through the eyes of lover and muse, Françoise Gilot. Though characterized as a selfish and difficult man of many moods, I’m fascinated with his creative process and found this book to give detailed insight into his lifestyle and perspective.
Trade Secret
Casa Gusto is an interior design and antique firm that hosts a collection of vintage fabric pieces, pottery, artworks and furnishings sold to the trade in West Palm Beach Florida. Filled with all the quality comforts of home, their space features 17th and 18th-century furniture mixed with modern objects collected from around the world
What I’m Wearing
Christopher Korey Collective, the ultimate luxury clothing brand for a modern and refined gentleman's wardrobe. From formal to casual, each piece balances structure with comfort for a crisp, clean and classic look that brings out the very best version of myself. I love the attention to detail and fine care involved with the creation of each collection.
Must Have
Since the pandemic hit, JetSweat Fitness has been my savior in keeping fit and staying healthy. With exclusive access to unlimited streaming, they have the best online fitness classes for working out at home from the hottest studios around NYC.
They offer personalized workouts and a variety of content from boutique fitness studios around the city. I love the flexibility of the platform, so whether you have 20 minutes or a full hour for a class, you can still get your sweat on. Follow them @jetsweatfitness.
Hot Spot
Given the times, traveling has become a far fetched dream. Until the world reopens once again, I’ve been scoping out local getaways within driving distance of New York. Just 5 hours away from the city, tucked in the hills of Vermont lies an enchanting country resort Twin Farms.
Surrounded by lush, Vermont greenery, Twin Farms is a great place to enjoy the fall foliage with easy access to nearby hiking trails, lakes and parks. They only allow 40 guests at any given time making this a safe place to get away and enjoy the time out of the city.
